Martin Imperial Alto sax. Made in Elkhart, Indiana USA. Nickel keys. No nasty dents, a couple of pings and dings but nothing to worry about. The lacquer is not bad either. It is has blemishes, as you might expect but there are no bare patches where lacquer has worn away. I have replaced all pads and overhauled it so it is now in fine working condition. It is a very nice sax to play, nice fingering, easy blower I have no idea how old this instrument is but the serial number is 305372 should that be of any help. Comes with a hardcase. Buyer pays carraige. Price £395.00 GBP If you are interested and would like more photos please email request.
Martin Handcraft baritone in good working order. Date of construction: 1934. Serial number: 109xxx. Great sound – with a Larsen metal mouthpiece it roars like a beast. The pads and springs have recently been checked in a well-established professional workshop . To be sold without mouthpiece, as the owner is keeping the piece for the replacement baritone. The lacquer is somewhat tarnished, and has rubbed through in a few places. With original case, which is sturdy but can’t be locked; it is better with a strap around it, just in case. Jiffy stand available, with detachable part on the bell. The mouthpiece cork needs replacing. It has the usual E to E/F to F tuning discrepancy, which can be handled by careful lipping. The instrument is still with the owner who lives in London.
